I am delighted to inform you that the Teenage Clinic is still available to all youths aged between 13-24 years. The clinic is continuing to run weekly on a Tuesday afternoon between 3.30 - 6.30pm, no appointment is needed. There is also a walk in service available Monday to Friday mornings.

Phlebotomy Clinic

We offer blood tests daily but also start at 7.30am every Wednesday and Thursday mornings. We also offer an afternoon Phlebotomy Clinic on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 14:00 -15:30

If you suffer from one of these conditions, you will receive a reminder for an annual review with the practice nurse.

Blood Test

You can have your blood taken in the surgery. The clinics are held every day and are by appointment.

Rheumatology Clinic

This clinic is currently being held on a Thursday and is by appointment with the Practice Nurse. The clinic offers blood testing, blood pressure checks and a medication review which will address any concerns you have regarding your medication.

Antenatal Clinic

Appointment only clinics on Monday afternoon and Tuesday Morning.

Child Development Clinic

This clinic is held every Wednesday and Thursday morning, by appointment only. It is for children under five years and is attended by Dr Burman-Roy.

Child Immunisations

Immunisations are given by the practice nurse and runs concurrently with the developmental clinic. Please do not bring your child to the clinic if they are ill. Please ask at reception for a copy of the schedule for childhood immunisations.

Travel Clinic

suitcaseWe are an approved Yellow Fever vaccination centre and provide up to date vaccination information and complete vaccination courses prior to travel. Some courses need to be commenced at least six weeks before your planned trip. For detailed advice please complete our pre travel vaccination form so the nurses can supply you with accurate information. Some vaccines are not available under the NHS and a fee is payable.  Please note we do see Private patients at a fee.

Teenage Sexual Health  Clinic

Dr Burman-Roy and our practice nurse run a weekly teenage sexual health clinic on Tuesday afternoons between 3.30 - 6.30pm and a walk in service Monday to Friday mornings. This is open to all youths aged 13 - 24 years regardless of where they are registered. The clinic offers contraception information, support and advice on STIs. There is no neeed to book an appointment - just turn up. All consultations are confidential. 

Family Planning

Contraceptive advice is confidential and available to people of any age during ordinary surgery hours. Our practice nurses offer a comprehensive service.

Emergency contraception is also available after discussion with a GP or nurse.

Dr Burman-Roy has a special interest in family planning and runs a weekly coil fitting clinic. The practice nurses are also trained in the fitting and removal of implanon contraceptive.

NHS Surrey Youth counselling service

This is a free and confidential service for 12-24 year olds on Monday afternoon. Call 0845 600 2516 for appointments.

Minor Surgery Clinic

Dr Bhatia performs weekly operating sessions for minor surgical procedures, and a monthly cryotherapy clinic. Please make an appointment to see Dr Bhatia first to discuss whether the operation is necessary and to arrange an appointment.

Research

The practice, and particularly Dr Farmer, has for many years involved itself with clinical research.

From time to time you may be approached to participate in one of these studies.

It should be stressed that participation in any of these studies is entirely voluntary. Furthermore, should you volunteer for a study, you are free to withdraw at any time.

All of these studies have been approved by the local Research Ethics Committee.

  • Elderly drivers
  • Pre-employment medicals
  • Passports
  • Private health insurance claim forms
  • Diving medicals
  • Insurance medicals (fee normally paid by the insurance company)
  • Photo-card driving licence applications
  • Certain holiday vaccinations and prescriptions
